BIGSOUND. It’s the biggest music conference in Australia and it starts in four short weeks. After popping my cherry at the event last year, I am pumped to be heading to the festival again in 2017 to absorb as much new music this country has to offer in four days.
With a line-up now boasting 153 artists (OMG!) and a huge array of speakers from around the world, this year is gonna be massive and somehow I have to start planning!
Last year, I attempted to cover every single act before the conference and I failed miserably, resorting to three word reviews of acts in the end (and I couldn’t even finish that!)
This year, I’m trying something different. I will put all of the names into a ‘virtual’ hat and start picking them out at random. Hopefully I will cover a good range of acts that I hadn’t thought of covering and it will be a bit of fun along the way.
Using this ‘Random Choice Generator‘ website, I will keep clicking Random Choice to come up with each artist and then have a listen to them and write a little preview.
