Another Tuesday and another song that has caught my ear this week, and this week my ear has been lucky enough to hear the latest single from Jane Tyrell.
If you don’t know Jane Tyrell yet, you need to. Her voice is not only the female presence in The Herd, but she has done some amazing work with Solo from Horrorshow, Urthboy on lots of stuff and is an artist in her own right.
Jane is finally releasing a solo album, which will be, no doubt, immaculate. This song follows on from ’Wild Waters’, which was also a beautifully constructed song.
This track has a sweet-arse bassline, punchy drums and luscious textured vocals. You can just hear the work and production that has gone into it, which coincidentally has been done by Pip Norman (AKA Countbounce) and Laurence and Richard Pike (PVT).
