Tuesday Tunesday #53 | Sahara Beck – Here It Comes

I have been researching for Bluesfest and getting overwhelmed with the sheer amount of quality acts on the bill. Thankfully I have excellent friends that have helped me out with who to check out!

One of the suggested artists (Thanks Leah!) was this young lady, Sahara Beck. From the Sunshine Coast of Queensland, she brings an interesting bag of tunes with her. She recorded her first album when she was 15 and has seems to have released rollicking blues, up-beat poppy numbers and some gorgeous solo acoustic numbers. Perhaps she’s still finding her niche, or perhaps she is just showing off! Either way, she’s a definite talent.

This is her latest single and first song to be released from her upcoming album, Panacea. Here It Comes is a slow-groove of a track with a lilting backing, a walking bass…and then….here it comes indeed. Just wait for the end of the track and check out the explosive voice of Sahara Beck in all it’s glory.

Pumped to see her and the huge array of acts this weekend!

Congratulations also goes to Sahara for picking up the Folk / Singer Songwriter award at the QLD Music Awards last night!
