…and we’re back. It’s been too long since I’ve thrown out a #TuesdayTunesday track and whilst you’d think it’s been a quiet time for music, there are so many great tunes coming out that it’s been hard to pick something for today.
I settled on this track cause I can’t get it out of my damn head. If you’re into new music you may have heard of Le Pie. She had the third most played song on triple j’s unearthed last year with ‘Secrets’ and has started 2016 with another corker of a track.
Any track that starts with a bass line is all right by me…but wait…there’s more! This pop-indie-dance song is a wall of delicious sound. It has the feel of coming from the 80′s, but has a distorted guitar track that takes it to another place all together.
Singer, Sarah Fenn, is a massive ‘Sonic Youth’ fan and I think you can hear that influence in here. I missed them at the Newtown festival recently, but will be taking the next op to catch them.
