Moody Monday #6 | Leon Bridges – River

Monday is my low-key day. A day to listen to something soothing to transition from a busy weekend into another working week. I also find that soothing music will help me to focus on the tasks that I try to do at the start of the week.

Leon Bridges is an American gospel and soul singer from Texas. His voice is pure soul. Just beautiful. He sings about ‘Coming Home’, becoming a ‘Better Man’ and heading to the ‘River’ in this beautifully simple and soulful song that I’ve chosen for this #MoodyMonday. He’s also a snappy dresser and a rad dancer.

Bridges’ tunes take us to another time and place whilst retaining their youthful essence. It’s fantastic, that even in this modern age, we are able to listen to music that sounds like it’s coming out of the 50′s.
