Oh look who’s back!
Evan Mast and Mike Stroud, AKA Ratatat played at Coachella on the weekend and released this track, the first since 2010, just hours before their set. So I guess that means LP5 is on it’s way. Nice when you don’t have to think of an album name…
Cream on Chrome is a pumping little track with a real drive to it. Ratatat have always been known for their experimental influences and this track is no different. Fuzzy Chinese influenced guitars, some very tidy bass lines and fantastic production. More instrumental than electronic, which definitely agrees with me.
Can’t wait to see what else this duo come out with..
